Using natural and commercial materials participants will be able to make two types of baskets. Students can choose to make Melon basket, dilly bag, ornamental fish basket or a decorative coloured cane basket. The course will include identifying, collecting and preparation of materials as well as learning a wide range of techniques which can be used in both traditional and contemporary basket making.
