Floral Designs

Floral workshop will cover basics of floral design. Day is all about creating your own work with guidance from Caroline. Floral demonstration then  students will make own bouquet and learn new skills to use at home. This is the perfect day for anyone who enjoys flowers and design. Learn how to care for flowers, how to combine colours and principles of arrangement.  This " hands on day" stimulates your creativity!      Bring secateurs and string.  Take your arrangement home!

Materials List

Please bring rubber gloves, flower cutters (light secateurs or heavy kitchen scissors), string, an old tea towel and a carry basket or box to take home your creations. string. 

Tutor: Caroline Barber

Caroline studied at Constance Spry Flower School in London and then went on to work in London, designing arrangements for weddings and glamorous functions. She now has eighteen years experience in Sydney creating floral displays for weddings, private functions and hotel foyers. Caroline designs with related creative craftsmen to bring floral magic to the event. Colour being a primary element. Currently Caroline works as a colour consultant with residential clients, also presenting floral and design workshops. Fundamentals of design are constant, balance, use of space and texture. Nature gives us the template we can add the rest! Caroline’s interest in teaching is to inspire participants to gain skills and connect with their own creativity.
