Designed for those who love to draw the figure and wish to develop their expressive and observational skills. A female or male art model poses each week in a variety of poses. Pina guides students in developing spontaneous drawing skills, observation of gesture, strategies for perspective and techniques to create 3D tonal effects. Experiment with and learn to use a range of drawing media such as charcoal, pastels and more and learn creative, contemporary approaches to life drawing. Pina's class covers structural anatomy as it relates to life drawing and provides a strong foundation to drawing practice through visual analytical approaches.

Pina Bartolo's approach to her Life Drawing classes is that absolutely everyone can draw. ‘The human body, young or old, is fascinating in all its wonderful shapes. I want to offer students a multitude of approaches, not just my own, but those of other artists as well.
