Hand Embroidery Beginners Zoom Session: ‘Plant Trio’ Kit

This free online workshop with Bronnie is a guided tutorial focused on getting started with tips and tricks for completing the "Succulent Art" hand embroidery kit available from the Create With Us website. The kit and workshop is suitable for all ages and all makers!

Through her own crafting adventures, our tutor Bronnie discovered that "crafting was a healthy and enjoyable way to practice mindfulness, delight others and create time for myself in this busy world!” And set out to inspire and help others to share the experience.

Bronnie teaches a range of crafting workshops at North Sydney Community Centre, from Machine Sewing to Crochet classes, to hosting Craft Socials, where likeminded makers can gather to make together, and receive advice and help on individual projects, informed by Bronnie’s broad range of craft experience and knowledge!

This tutorial we’ll all be making the same pattern, but it’s a great way to get started or get back into embroidery, and to get connected with other makers during isolation!

Simply purchase the Plant Trio embroidery kit from the Create With Us website and book into the workshop for free, here on the NSCC website. Places are limited to 10 people, so get in quick!

Tutor: Bronnie Zervos

Bronnie started crafting as a way to practise mindfulness and create time for herself in a busy world. Her journey started with sewing cushions and beach bags which proved to be very popular at local markets and in her Etsy store. Bronnie began to explore other crafts including jewellery making, crochet and macrame. While she loves making her own creations for her Etsy store and handmade gifts for family and friends, her real passion is inspiring others to get creative and enjoy making their own projects. Bronnie believes everybody has a creative side!  ‘So thrilled and excited for my new hobby! I can't wait to come back and learn many new skills. Bronnie was so lovely and patient and able to give us lots of one on one time which you can't pay for. Thank you for a lovely afternoon and for introducing me to my new hobby/obsession :)’ (Hand Embroidery Student 2019)
