Choir on a Wire: Leonard Cohen

We celebrate the songs of the great songwriter and poet Leonard Cohen with the return of Choir on a Wire (a nod to his famous song "Bird on a Wire" which started here back in 2007).

Part-choir, part joyous singalong, this 9- week course will bring together people from all walks of life who love to sing Cohen's wonderful songs that celebrate life and love and laughter.

No previous experience necessary.  All you need is your voice.

Christina has been directing community choirs for fifteen years, and they have included the much-loved Choir on a Wire, a celebration of Leonard Cohen’s songs, here at North Sydney. She holds this year’s National Folk Fellowship, and is currently planning a singing weekend for lovers of music and history on Cockatoo Island in Sydney Harbour. When not composing, performing, producing, touring and organising, she likes to sing “The Wheels on the Bus” to her son.
