Choir: Paul Simon

We celebrate the songs of the great songwriter and Paul Simon - all his hits from the early Simon and Garfunkel days to his latest release "Stranger to Stranger" and including his wonderful songs inspired by the music of South Africa, Brazil, Puerto Rico and Peru.  Expect to sing some great songs in harmony in this part-choir, part joyous singalong. No previous experience necessary.  All you need is your voice.

Tutor: Christina Mimmocchi

Christina has been directing community choirs for fifteen years, and they have included the much-loved Choir on a Wire, a celebration of Leonard Cohen’s songs, here at North Sydney. She holds this year’s National Folk Fellowship, and is currently planning a singing weekend for lovers of music and history on Cockatoo Island in Sydney Harbour. When not composing, performing, producing, touring and organising, she likes to sing “The Wheels on the Bus” to her son.
