Join Rob Bullen and the Corona Band for this joyful experience of online singing.
In Term 1 2021, the Corona Choir will sing songs written by Australians (of all eras) about Australia or Australian culture. They range from evocations of landscape (Dan Sultan's "Kimberley Calling") to city life ("Friday On My Mind"); they cover serious issues ("Beds Are Burning", "To Her Door") and some plain fun ("The Real Thing", "Eagle Rock"). Many songs you will know, some you won't.
Join us for another great time discovering how we can interact, make music and have fun even if we don't quite think it's safe to sing together live yet.
From one participant: "a fun, connected and successful experience during these novel Covid conditions.”

Rob has played jazz, rock’n’roll, folk and various other musical styles for “a very long time”, singing and playing guitar or bass. He has performed in groups and solo. Rob has been an enthusiastic member of various choirs, and previously ran the very successful “Road to Motown,” “Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club,” “Rolling Stones,” “Songs of Oz,”"Songs About The Weather," and "Songs about Growing Up" choirs. “Songs about Travelling” Choir is set to be just as interesting. Nothing too difficult, and definitely no pressure – the emphasis is on fun.
