Body Conditioning

Total Body Conditioning is a music based, easy to follow, Pilates-inspired muscle toning class using standing and mat strengthening exercises. The workout is low impact and joint friendly. Use your own body weight to help burn fat, build strength, increase endurance, reshape and improve muscle mass.

No equipment. All ages and fitness levels welcome. 


Total Body Conditioning . Strengthen joints and Tone muscles. Improve Balance, flexibility, mobility and posture. Specific Core exercises for standing and floor. 


Low / Moderate. 


All fitness levels. You can increase or decrease your own workout pace.

There are also standing modifications for most Mat exercises, If getting down and up from the floor is an issue, or if kneeling causes you discomfort. 

If you are not sure if this class is for you, please ring the NSCC office with your query and they will get in touch with your tutor for you. 

Check the website: for all updated details of your favourite course! There are adjustments to our regular scheduling due to COVID-19 restrictions. Please make sure to check all course details as there are some changes to start times and days. Please also be aware if you are enrolling in an ONLINE or ONSITE course as we will still have some courses running ONLINE in Term 3.

Students will be required to bring their own equipment as we are no longer able to share equipment due to COVID safety. More information on what you will need to bring will be given before the start of your class.

Students will also be expected to assist their tutor in a post-course clean down of the room & anything used during this time. Please understand we are putting in strict protocols across the board to ensure the safety of our entire community.

Marion Claridge has been teaching a variety of Group Fitness classes for over 11 years, including having owned and operated her own fitness business for 3 of those years. Along with her permanent teaching positions at various Fitness Clubs, Marion also teaches Senior Fitness at Community Centres and Weight Training at High Schools during the school terms.
