Tai Chi & Qi Gong: Enhance Mental Health

Tai Chi & Qi Gong exercise is suitable for everybody. This mindful exercise improves energy and helps when feeling low or anxious and creates inner harmony, strengthens mental energy, and helps you to relax and have a peaceful mind.

Angela Tian Zhu is a ATMS qualified practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), World Academic Society of Medical QI Gong Council Member and a AKWF National Accredited Qi Gong and Tai Chi instructor. 

“I have a deep understanding of QI (Energy) flow with our mind and body after practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and teaching for more than 4 decades. With the above experience, I have integrated the following three skills into my teaching to help people’s Energy (QI) flow better in the mind and body.

1. Traditional Chinese Medicine theory with Yin and Yang philosophy

2. Qi Gong and Tai Chi (Taiji) exercise and theory

3. Developed a special teaching method (mindfulness exercise)

Why Energy (Chi) flow is so important? Without Energy (QI) flow we wouldn’t exist. Our mind and body interconnect and mutually affect each other.

My passion is to help people to educate them to put the Qi exercise in their daily life, such as how to do breathing/walking/standing/sitting/looking/hearing/talking, and how to use mouth, tongue, hands, fingers and toes with Qi (Energy) with mind – not just teaching Qi Gong forms.”

Angela was born in Beijing and followed in the footsteps of her grandfather, father and mother to become a TCM practitioner. She has practised in China and Europe and has been in practice in Australia since 1992. Now she teaches at WEA Sydney, Mosman Community College, North Sydney Community Centre, Waverton Senior Hub, schools and corporate companies.
