Have you been thinking about trying Yoga Pilates Fusion? Meet our tutor, Tara, and stretch and strengthen that core!
**Limited places are available due to COVID restrictions: this class is open to students who have not taken a yoga/pilates class with us before!
Yoga Pilates Fusion is a unique, upbeat class that blends the benefits of yoga and pilates poses and sequences.
This is one of Tara’s favourite formats to teach!
Pilates improves muscle and joint flexibility, increases muscle strength and tone specifically for the core muscles, while balancing strength on both sides of the body.
Yoga offers the additional benefits of improved balance, reduced back pain, better breathing, mental calmness, & stress reduction.
**During COVID: on-site students are asked to assist their tutor in a post-class clean down of the room & equipment used. At NSCC we are working together to ensure the safety of our entire community.

You will need to bring a yoga mat and towel. You can also bring a block (if you would like the option). If you need to borrow equipment for the day, please contact the Centre prior to the class starting to arrange this.
I have been teaching group fitness for 20 years helping many clients reach their health and fitness goals. I am certified in pilates mat and reformer as well as several yoga styles. Teaching mind and body classes is my passion as the benefits are both mental and physical ~ improved flexibility, balance, coordination, & strength. As well as stress reducing, improved focus, and calming for the mind. I have been teaching pilates for over 16 years including pre/post natal pilates, yoga, & nutrition. Having five children of my own I have gained much personal experience & understanding throughout pregnancy & thereafter.
