Stretch & Strength: Wednesday

This class will be held online via Zoom for term 1 2022.


Class capacity: 6-18 students

Rebalance your mind, body and soul by improving your flexibility, enhance mobility and range of motion with anti-arthritic exercises

Improve core strength and strengthen postural muscles to improve your balance and posture. Relax your nervous system and reduce stress by concluding the class with a healing and relaxing gong meditation.

*During COVID: We ask students to assist their tutor in a post-course clean down of surfaces and equipment they have used during this time. Thank you for helping us ensure the safety of our entire community.

Materials List

You will need a yoga mat for this class (bring your own or borrow from the Centre) and a full drink bottle. Additional equipment use will be discussed in the first session, and you have the option to bring your own, borrow from the Centre, or work out without using the additional equipment. If you want to purchase their own equipment, the following list is an example of what is used in classes to add variety and intensity to your workouts: 2 tennis balls OR a Posture Pro, a spikey massage ball ( $8-10), a golf ball, a small loop band (can be purchased from Kogan you get about 5 bands of varying intensity for about $20), a long roller (at least 90cm long by 15cm diameter or longer if you are tall - $30-50), long bands (around 2m or buy 2 shorter ones and tie them together) OR a cable with handles on them, a Pilates ring ( $16-40), a block ($6-20), a Pilates Ball ($15) about 23cm diameter OR any soft cheap kids ball about that size. Equipment is available to borrow from the Centre and Heather will always provide alternatives. Kogan, Rebel Sport and most sports shops will have these items.

Tutor: Heather Crowe

Heather Crowe is a gifted and intuitive Sound Healer, Light Worker, Mystic, Teacher and Nature Lover.  “I believe that every being has an innate ability to heal themselves with the help

Heather has also undergone extensive training in yoga with Diploma in Yoga level 2 with Satyananda, Diploma in Hatha yoga, Studied Yoga Therapeutics, Kundalini yoga Level 1, 200Hr Power Living Flow Yoga Teacher training, 50 Hr Yin Yoga teacher Training with Bernie Clarke and Diana Batts, 60 Hr Yin Yoga teacher training with Sarah Powers

Heather is also an accomplished and Certified Pilates teacher. 

She is the Director of Health Conscious Personal Training since 2003 specializing in Yoga, Pilates and personal Training to individuals and small groups in the Lower North Shore and surrounding Suburbs.
