Class capacity: 6-12 students
Focus on language in everyday situations; basic conversation, greetings, useful vocabulary and some cultural immersion. Verbs, conjugation, elementary discourse and grammar are included.
Whatever your motivation to learn another language, be it for upcoming travel, to sharpen your cognitive skills, to improve your memory, increase your understanding of your own culture...or just to have fun, begin your journey here. From the exhilaration of understanding a new concept to the frustration of not being able to grasp a particular rule, within small classes tutors take time to explain concepts and make learning a language fun.
*Please note class levels are subject to change depending on enrolment numbers and student abilities within each class. For repeat students, please ask your teacher for advice when re-enrolling about a suitable class for your level. For new students, please contact us to discuss further your level of experience. We look forward to finding the right class for you!

Textbook and workbook are all in one book and is available from Abbeys or Amazon. https://www.abbeys.com.au/book/nuovo-espresso-1-textbookworkbook-ebook-9788861826724.do *NOTE: all adult classes are for 18+ only, unless otherwise specified.
A passion for Italy and its culture took Roy on a life journey of exploration which started in Greece and led to her Italian citizenship. She studied Italian language and literature and obtained a master’s degree in teaching Italian to foreigners from the University of Venice. She taught Italian to adults and children for several years in a group and individual setting. She has attended specialisation courses in Italy and has worked in a corporate environment in Rome and in Athens. She moved to Australia with her Italian husband and children a few years ago and continues to share her love for Italy. In her class, students are encouraged to participate in a fun and relaxing environment where mistakes are welcomed as friends.
