Interested in learning how to make jam, pickles and preserves? This CWA Sydney City’s hands-on workshop will give you all the tips an tricks to get you started. This three hour workshop will cover classic jam and traditional pickle recipes that you will be able to then master at home.
The CWA is the largest women's organisation in Australia and aims to improve conditions for country women and children. They reach that aim in various ways including lobbying for change, helping local communities and creating a network of support such as meeting together in towns and cities. The Sydney City branch have been busy boiling, bubbling and preserving rescued fresh farm and 'ugly' produce for our ‘A Sustainable Future’ - April 6th Northside Produce Market. They'll also have Anzac biscuits and CWA cookery books, aprons and scone cutters.
