He began his career as writer with The Norman Gunston Show, and became well- known through his columns in The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, and Good Weekend. Morris’ influence as a storyteller and thinker reaches across generations. As the current Australian Children’s Laureate Morris continues to promote the importance of reading, creativity and story in the lives of young Australians.
