Northside Produce Market - Saturday November 6

It’s a blooming Northside Produce Market this Saturday morning with a fruitful field of our seasonal and regular stallholders!

Seasonal stallholder Gilles Australian Garlic are loaded up with their organically grown - new season, fresh, juicy garlic and garlic scapes. This November 6 Market, is the one chance to get our hands on Gilles and Victoria’s scapes from their farm in Jembaicumbene near Braidwood. This edible stem and flower bud of the plant has the texture of asparagus and is so versatile, raw and cooked.

When Crooked Creek return to the market each year, it's a reminder that Christmas is not too far away! I’m particularly loving Zoe's new Peace Dove Chrissy cakes with 22 ingredients including chopped plump prunes, Buderim ginger & pineapple all steeped in 2-year-old Brandy which is then slowly baked and comes in varying shapes and sizes. Then there's the other cakes, puddings and biscuits.

Virtually all of our regular stallholders are back and we’re so pleased that Flour and Stone, Nonie’s Food, Bar Pho, Zavaglia Gourmet Produce, The Baked Box, Supernice Kream, Maria River Distillery and Australian Beeswax Wraps who were not able to join us at our reopening, are excited to see everyone.

Pack your picnic blanket as we can once again, eat, drink and sit in at the market in the tranquil, Ted Mack Civic park and enjoy the Jacaranda trees in their full glory. Face masks are to be worn at the market at all other times unless you have an exemption from doing so.

Ride your bike to the market and get a free bike service by the Pedal Set Go bike mechanic at our Check In & Tune Up stall thanks to the support of North Sydney Council. No need to book but you must be with your bike whilst it is being serviced. One bike per person.

As the market is deemed as critical retail and open to all, just like a supermarket, the Covid-19 safety practices below are in place in the interest of everyone’s safety.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding of our Covid-19 safety practices which enables the market to be as safe as is possible:

  • Pre-order where possible.
  • Do not attend the market if you are unwell.
  • QR check in and out of the market.
  • Wear a face mask at all times whilst at the market unless you have an exemption or are eating and drinking.
  • Maintain a physical distance of 1.5m.
  • Shop ’n Tap
  • Hand sanitiser is available for use at every stall.

For preordering, our stallholders contact details can be found at our Virtual Northside Produce MarketFor any stallholders not found there, email

We were so moved by everybody’s appreciation of the market reopening on October 16 and I look forward to experiencing the happiness of us all being together again this Saturday, November 6th. Thanks Lisa.
