Surf Life Saving NSW has partnered with North Sydney Community Centre to provide our community members with a live Beach & Ocean Safety Presentation in preparation for the summer and warmer weather!
Although the flags are down and the Lifesaving season has not started yet, the amazing team of NSW lifesavers have performed almost 3200 rescues and responded to 700 critical incidents over the last season. The summer season is approaching soon, and our beaches will be thriving with our lovely sunny summer. Thus, it is important to ensure that we are all educated about beach safety.
This one hour workshop will be presented online via Zoom. The Zoom meeting information will be emailed to you once you have confirmed your booking.
As the state's peak water safety and rescue organisation, Surf Life Saving NSW’s mission is simple and hasn’t changed in over 100 years; saving lives, creating great Australians and building better communities. Surf Life Saving is much more than just saving lives on the beach. A key priority is reaching out to all Australians through their substantial community education programs. Surf Life Saving NSW aims to teach all Australians how to keep themselves and their families safe at the beach.
