Climate For Change - Climate Conversation

We know that social change happens when everyday people start having conversations with those they know and trust. Climate for Change supports people to have effective conversations about climate change, and learn what actions they can take to have an impact.

During this event you’ll meet others in your community who also care about climate change and want to know how they make a difference. You’ll come away with a range of actions you can take to ensure a safe climate for everyone!

These conversations are most effective with people who are concerned, but perhaps haven’t taken action on climate change yet – so, bring along a friend, neighbour, family member or colleague and help us shift the conversation on climate change. Come and meet others in the community who share the same interest!

Please note, this event is not for children. This is an open and frank discussion about climate change, and the impact of the event can be greatly diminished if it is interrupted by young children.

Tutor: Carly Robertson

After discovering Climate for Change (C4C) as a Climate Conversation guest in Melbourne in 2016, Carly was inspired to host her own Conversation, and then train to become a volunteer facilitator, fundraiser and mentor. She now works at C4C as a Team Leader, training and supporting volunteers around Australia, and as a Community Organiser for NSW. Her passion is for helping people to find how they can step up and be a part of the climate action movement, and she now supports volunteers and members of the community to do just that.
