Digital Marketing Coordinator

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for promoting and building audiences and enrolments for adult classes, events and playgroup, and assisting when necessary with marketing of the Northside Produce Market. North Sydney Community Centre is a vibrant hub of activity. Each term the Centre offers a diverse range of community programs including over 100 adult classes and workshops, community events, the twice-monthly Northside Produce Market, After School Care and Explorer’s Playgroup.

The role is responsible for, but definitely not limited to:

  • Managing and updating all digital applications including (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Soundcloud etc)
  • Online event listings
  • Online advertising
  • Writing, editing and producing the weekly E-newsletter
  • Providing digital marketing assistance across the organisation as required

Ideally you will have some Creative Suite, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey and basic video editing skills. You will need initiative, be collaborative but also able to work autonomously with a minimum of supervision. You will have excellent time management skills and attention to detail. You will need to be able to take basic written content and give it a dose of magic. You must be proficient in the use of computer hardware and software.

We need someone 1 day per week (7.6 hours) Monday or Tuesday 10.00am-6.00pm with the possibility of expanding to two days per week. Remuneration is dependent on experience. Immediate start.
