Course Overview

Explore the Authentic Tastes of Malaysia  

Join award-winning chef and trainer Daxa Chauhan for a vibrant, hands-on journey into the bold, diverse flavours of Malaysian cuisine.

Known for her signature Spicy Chicken Laksa, crowned Best Laksa in Sydney by Gourmet Traveller (2006), Daxa brings both expertise and passion to this immersive cooking experience.

In this workshop, you will learn to prepare a delicious selection of traditional dishes, including:
  • Nonya Chicken

  • Malaysian Chicken Satay

  • Crispy Corn Fritters

  • Mee Udang (Prawn Noodles)

Whether you're a passionate foodie or a curious beginner, this class is your chance to discover the spices, stories, and techniques behind some of Malaysia’s most beloved dishes.

What to Bring: 
  • Pen and paper for notes

  • Cotton apron (or one will be provided)

  • Closed-toe shoes

  • No jewellery or loose ornaments

  • Long hair must be tied back

  • Takeaway containers if you'd like to bring home any leftovers
