Mandala Drawing Workshop

Course Overview

This gentle, hands-on workshop is designed to help you explore your creativity in a calm and supportive space.

Whether you're brand new to drawing or looking for a mindful outlet, mandala creation offers a simple yet powerful way to slow down, reconnect, and express yourself.

Through a blend of guided meditation, breathing, and step-by-step instruction, you will learn the foundations of mandala drawing; including symmetry, layering, and pattern-making.

You will have the chance to create your own original mandala, with plenty of time for quiet focus, reflection, and creativity.

What we’ll cover:
  • A centering and grounding meditation to begin
  • Basic structure and elements of a mandala
  • Techniques for symmetry, layering, and pattern creation
  • Guided steps to build and complete your own personal mandala
  • Optional time for reflection or sharing at the end
You’ll walk away with:
  • A finished, original mandala
  • Confidence to keep drawing mandalas on your own
  • Foundational techniques to develop your practice
  • A sense of calm, clarity, and creative connection
  • A small take-home pack of materials to continue practicing
What to bring:

Nothing is required - just bring a snack if you’d like one during the break.

Testimonials

"It was a very pleasant afternoon - and Raquel Genioli ran a most interesting session. I came away with my own Mandala - not perfect in any way, but something I will have as a keepsake. It was also great to see so many people taking part in other things around the Centre. A hive of activity. Congratulations!"

"Wonderful instructor who made it so easy to learn how to draw mandalas. Everything was provided. A relaxing experience."
