Term 2 Dates

Term 2 for Photography Beginners runs from Monday 6 May to Monday 3 June.

The students will receive a comprehensive breakdown on how their individual camera works, how cameras work in general, and how to take creative control. They’ll also have a better understanding of some of the software that can aid in enhancing their new digital (or printed!) art.

Participants are required to bring along an SLR camera with the following accessories if you have them: a tripod, spare battery and a spare memory card. Wear comfortable shoes, and bring along wet weather gear, just in case.

If I could give more stars to Zara, I would. She brought enthusiasm, great knowledge and patience to the course. I would love to do an intermediate course with her as I learnt so much beginner knowledge from her and the other members of the class.”

Zara was great, no question was too silly.”

The course leader, Zara, was incredibly patient with us, her knowledge is excellent and her ability to share that at a pace all of us could follow is superb.”

It was great to learn the different functions of my camera. Until now I had only used the auto mode, so a huge thank you to Zara. She was always ready to rescue me when I called “help”. I especially enjoyed the excursion as the majority of the photos are taken in the day. However, it was interesting to learn about night photography, too.”
