How to Use Colour Psychology in Your Home

Course Overview

Discover how colour shapes the way we feel, think and live.

In this immersive 4‑hour workshop, you will explore the emotional and psychological impact of colour in interior spaces - and learn how to use it with confidence in your own home.

Guided by design principles and real‑world examples, you will uncover how different hues influence mood, how light transforms colour throughout the day and how to build palettes that create harmony, energy or calm. You will also learn how to avoid common colour mistakes and how to use undertones, contrast and saturation to bring depth and balance to any room.

Perfect for renovators, home‑stylers, and anyone wanting to elevate their design eye - no experience needed.

You will learn how to:
  • Use colour to influence mood & atmosphere

  • Work with undertones, temperature & saturation

  • Understand how natural & artificial light affect colour

  • Build cohesive colour palettes for different rooms

  • Use neutrals, accents & contrast effectively

  • Avoid common colour mistakes

Leave with practical tools, new confidence, and a deeper understanding of how colour can transform your interiors.
