Join Our Online Greek for Intermediate Course
Continue your Greek language journey with experienced tutor Roy, now teaching online from Athens.
This 8-week course builds on previous learning and focuses on practical, everyday situations such as ordering food, describing a trip, booking a hotel room and checking in. You will expand your vocabulary, learn new grammar structures including verbs in the future tense and personal pronouns in the accusative case and gain more confidence forming sentences and asking questions in Greek.

- Once you are enrolled and the class is confirmed (usually a week prior to the course start date), we will send you an email with the online link you will need to join and attend the class.
- All materials will be provided by email before and after each class.
Course Breakdown
Week 1: revision of the material covered in previous terms.
Week 2: ordering food over the phone, introduction to the future tense.
Week 3: regular verbs in the future tense, expressions used with the future.
Week 4: ordering food at the taverna.
Week 5: describing a trip, more verbs in the future tense.
Week 6: booking a hotel room and checking in.
Week 7: planning a short holiday.
Week 8: personal pronouns in the accusative case (strong and weak form).

Roy Gerente
Roy was born and raised in Athens, Greece. She studied Italian language and literature, has a master’s degree in teaching and is a certified Greek language teacher. She channels her love and passion for her country by sharing her knowledge of the language and culture with people. Greece is a state of mind, a collection of sensations, colours, tastes and sounds that bring people together in a very special way. In Roy’s class, students are encouraged to participate in a fun and relaxing environment where mistakes are welcomed as friends.
