Winter Art Prize Award Night

You are warmly invited to the first-ever Winter Art Prize Award Night, a special evening celebrating creativity, community and artistic talent.

Be among the first to experience the finalist exhibition, featuring a curated selection of works chosen from over hundreds of submissions. Our judge, Ann Cape, has carefully reviewed each piece and will announce the winners live on the night.

What to expect

• View a stunning collection of finalist artworks across watercolour, acrylic, oil and printmaking
• Opportunity to purchase selected artworks
• Enjoy a glass of wine and canapés while exploring the exhibition
• Meet Ann Cape, an established painter, sculptor and art teacher
• Connect with other artists, meet new people and be inspired

Celebrate as we announce:

• Adult Prize Winner – $2,300
• Youth Prize Winner – $350
• Director’s Award PLUS additional special recognition prizes

People’s Choice Award Vote: All attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite artwork on the night via a QR code. The winner will be announced alongside the other prize recipients.

Evening schedule

• 6:30pm: Doors open (welcome drink on arrival)
• 7:15pm: Winner announcements by Ann Cape

Exhibition Viewing

The Award Night will take place on Friday 3 July from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. If you are unable to attend, the finalist artworks will also be on display on Saturday 4 July from 9:00am to 12:00pm. This will be the only additional opportunity to view the exhibition and purchase selected artworks.
