Student & Tutor Concert and Open Mic

Join us for a buzzing night of music, creativity and community spirit.

Before the open‑mic begins, we’ll start the evening with a special one‑hour performance by our talented Guitar students, joined by tutor Joseph Zarb. Their upbeat set will set the tone for the night and showcase the wonderful work they’ve been developing this term.

Once their performance wraps up, the stage opens to the community. Whether you’re stepping up to the mic or cheering from the crowd, this relaxed open‑mic session brings neighbours, friends and local musicians together to share songs, stories and good vibes.

If you’ve got a tune you love to play or a song you’ve been working on, we’d truly love to hear it. This is a warm, supportive space where every performer is celebrated.

How the open mic works:

  • Sign up on arrival - add your name when you walk in

  • One song each - so everyone gets a turn

  • 3‑minute limit - short and sweet keeps the night flowing

  • Bring your instrument or use ours - guitars, ukes or the Centre piano

  • Confident players welcome - best for those comfortable performing

Bring some snacks, your favourite drinks and a few friends and settle in for a night of music, laughter and connection.

Whether you’re performing or simply soaking up the atmosphere, you’re part of what makes this night special - and everyone is welcome.
