A beautiful smile is captivating, and losing teeth can be devastating. Dental caries and periodontal disease are the primary culprits behind tooth loss.

In this presentation, Susan will delve into the causes of both caries and periodontal disease. She'll emphasise that prevention is paramount, as the cost of treatment for both conditions can escalate into thousands of dollars. Susan will illustrate the progression of these diseases and provide guidance on proper brushing techniques. Additionally, she'll educate attendees on how to identify signs and symptoms of these conditions using visual diagrams.

Susan is eager to engage with the audience and looks forward to sharing her expertise.

About the tutor

Susan Solomon

Susie comes from Cape Town, South Africa. She completed Art School in ceramics in the late 70s in Cape Town, South Africa. Susie continued Artwork in London in the 1970's. She attended the School of Colour and Design in Sydney Australia between 1990 -1992 and in 1993 Susie attended the University of Berkley, California and completed further courses in Design and Colour. In 1996 she moved to Singapore and started ceramic and Ikebana, achieving a diploma in the Arts at National School of Fine Arts. Susie’s paintings and ceramics have been shown in numerous galleries, including her first private exhibition at the Sunjin Gallery Singapore in 2012. She has also participated in further exhibitions in Sydney and Malaysia. Susie ‘s unique Ikebana arrangements are popular at private dinners and restaurant’s and she became a Japanese Master of the School of Sogetsu Japan in 2013.
