Perinatal Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing

Join us for a one-off information session led by a representative from Gidget Foundation Australia, supporting the emotional wellbeing of expectant, new, and potential parents.

This engaging 20-minute session will cover:

  • Mental wellbeing in the perinatal period

  • Raising awareness around postnatal depression and anxiety (PNDA)

  • What’s normal, when to seek extra support, and how to access it

  • Introduction to local and national support services

The talk is designed to be practical, supportive, and aligned with the early parenting experience. Parents will walk away with useful tools, greater awareness, and clear pathways to help if needed.

This session is part of a national pilot program aiming to empower new parents and reduce stigma around emotional health challenges.

Please note: This is offered as part of our FREE community talks program. Pre-booking encouraged however walkins welcome on the day.
