Crochet Workshop: Learn the Art of Looping! (Ages 10+)

Course Overview

Ready to get hooked? 

Join us for a mindful and creative crochet workshop - perfect for beginners or anyone looking to refresh their skills. 

We’ll have a variety of mini-projects available on the day to suit all levels of makers.

What You’ll Learn:

• How to hold a crochet hook and yarn comfortably
• Basic stitches: chain, single, and double crochet
• How to read simple patterns and crochet symbols
• Tips to start, finish, and troubleshoot small crochet projects

 All materials provided

including hooks, yarn, and a take-home kit so you can keep practicing after the session!

Who it's for: Ages 10 and up 

No experience necessary! Regular makers are welcome to bring a current project for support or guidance.

By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with:

A handmade item (such as an armband, headband, or necklace)
New crochet skills and confidence to keep going
A take-home crochet kit to continue your practice

About the tutor

Bronnie Hunt

Bronnie started crafting as a way to practise mindfulness and create time for herself in a busy world. Her journey started with sewing cushions and beach bags which proved to be very popular at local markets and in her Etsy store. Bronnie began to explore other crafts including jewellery making, crochet and macrame. While she loves making her own creations for her Etsy store and handmade gifts for family and friends, her real passion is inspiring others to get creative and enjoy making their own projects. Bronnie believes everybody has a creative side!
