Charlotte Smedley
Charlotte has danced all her life since the age of 4 years completing all her grades when at school and continuing to dance when living in London at Contemporary Dance School and with a private dance teacher Miranda Hampton who continues to dance into her 80s with Sadlers Wells Elders.
Charlotte first started to learn Go-Go dance when she was completing her grades and was inspired by Pans People, Sandie Sargeant and later Hot Gossip.
Charlotte had the opportunity to work as a go-go dancer in a local club which helped to pay for all her classes.
Charlotte loves teaching adults and tries to develop a class in which everyone can dance and enjoy dancing.
Having taught dance at two universities in the North East of England and a large dance studio in Newcastle she is looking forward to bringing her love of Go-Go to students of all ages.
