It’s Mushroom season - mmmm!

It’s mushroom season and Margin’s Mushrooms have Oyster Mushroom Kits for you to be able to grow your own – GYO. At 11am, Kim is giving a little ‘GYO’ tutorial at the stall, where all your questions will be answered. Be sure to also ask about their Mushroom Risotto packs, that make mushroom risotto making, so easy and delicious.

Congratulations Nonie and team on Nonie’s Food turning 10 years young. What a way to celebrate reaching this milestone by creating Mini Loaves of your gluten free breads. We can’t wait to get our hands on them and now we can fit more of our favourite flavours of your fabulous bread, in the freezer such as the Fig & Almond.

It’s steamy at the Enokido Miso stall, with cups of warming Miso soup being served. This traditional Japanese soup can be made in various ways depending on the region and season. For Northside, Akemi uses their famous Brown Rice Miso Paste, vegetable and bonito stock, mushrooms, sesame seeds and seasonal vegetables.

Meanwhile it’s heating up at the Broomfields Pie stall, with their piping, hot pies coming out of the oven. Ryan's tribute to Autumn, of pot roasted Bannockburn chicken, English mustard, baby leeks and poppy seeds encased in the perfect, pie pastry is sure to be popular at this market.
