Northside Produce Market October 5 Highlights

It’s a long weekend which means more time to enjoy creating delicious food to share with family and friends.

Peyton Blu Royale Seafood has Barramundi from Humpty Doo in the Top End and wild caught, Green King prawns from the Spencer Gulf in SA, to throw on the barbie.

Spring means asparagus and Kurrawong Organic’s gus is so good and a suggestion: eating the younger and more tender shoots of the plant, uncooked.

Leaning Oak Cheese’s Saint Maure chevre is divine due to the fresh, spring foliage, the goats have been feeding on, which flows through to their milk.

Saturday brings heat, perfect timing for Saft House’s new cold pressed, traditional style Lemonade, naturally sweetened with organic agave.

Wormticklers Nursery’s seasonal, organic seedlings are waiting to please! Make the most of the extra day off and get planting your future food.

We’re almost out of material bags at our Bag Depot. So, if you have any spare, clean ones to donate for people to use, that would be great.

I love a long weekend Northside Produce Market and I look forward to seeing everyone with their market goodies.
