Italian Advanced (B2)
Course Overview
Designed for students with a minimum 3 - 4 years of Italian tuition who wish to engage in active conversation and gain a deeper understanding of the language and culture.
You are fluent using all tenses and a vast vocabulary. You are generally confident in using your Italian language skills and seeking the opportunity to practise and keep improving. Grammar still has some more secrets to reveal to you and the audio-visual resources used in class will help consolidate its concepts and bring you closer to Italy. This class is held entirely in Italian.
Course content: Unit 1 Viaggio in Italia
Week 1: Revision lesson focused on conversation
Week 2: Reading and recounting stories: understanding the historic past
Week 3: Creating a travel itinerary using the language of marketing
Week 4: Listening exercises and a fun game
Week 5: How to use anzi and piuttosto che
Week 6: Discussing Italy’s geography and economy
Week 7: Advanced vocabulary for travelling
Week 8: Famous people in history and a fun quiz
