Italian Advanced (B2)
Course Overview
Designed for students with a minimum 3 - 4 years of Italian tuition who wish to engage in active conversation and gain a deeper understanding of the language and culture.
You are fluent using all tenses and a vast vocabulary. You are generally confident in using your Italian language skills and seeking the opportunity to practise and keep improving. Grammar still has some more secrets to reveal to you and the audio-visual resources used in class will help consolidate its concepts and bring you closer to Italy. This class is held entirely in Italian.
Course content: Unit 2
Week 1: Revision lesson focused on conversation
Week 2: Technologies and the future
Week 3: Past participles without a subject
Week 4: Imagining the future with a listening exercise
Week 5: If sentences and how to make hypothesis
Week 6: The health system in Italy and talking about health and therapies
Week 7: Verbi pronominali and how to use them
Week 8: Primo Levi: discussing the author and one of his books

Students who participate in this course will receive a 50% discount at Ridge Street Car Park. Simply speak to our team when you visit the Centre, and we’ll register your plate number in our system (please note you’ll need to register your plate each time you attend the course). This discount applies to courses held at the Centre during office hours (Monday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm).
