Strengthen, Stretch & Shine: 3-Week Summer Pilates Course!
Pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout designed to improve core strength, flexibility, and posture while promoting a sense of calm and well-being.
Pilates focuses on precise, controlled movements and is suitable for all fitness levels, offering modifications to challenge or support participants based on their individual needs.
During this 3-week course, students engage in a series of Pilates exercises that target the core, enhance flexibility, and improve overall body alignment and strength. Each session incorporates dynamic stretching, breathing and controlled movement to create a balanced and restorative experience, as well as explore ways to improve balance and stability through functional movements.
By the end of the course, students will have improved their core strength, flexibility and body awareness.
This course not only supports physical health but also promotes mental clarity and relaxation.
Course Breakdown
- Week 1: Focus on foundational core exercises to build stability and strength. Gentle stretches to improve flexibility and enhance range of motion.
- Week 2: Progression of core exercises with added intensity for strength-building. Balance-focused movements to improve stability. Full-body mobility work targeting hips, shoulders, and spine.
- Week 3: Combining strength, balance, and flexibility. Exploration of the exercises and movements learnt in the previous classes.
