Staying Young & Active
Course Overview
Staying Young & Active is a full body, personalised low to high impact, aerobic, strength and mobility class.
This class is perfect for active older adults who like keep moving and are looking for a dynamic fitness class that helps them stay active, strong and healthy.
This is a low to high intensity class. The intensity is adjusted through each session by providing alternatives that cater to each individual’s strength and mobility.
The class designed to cover all elements of fitness such as cardiovascular endurance, muscular conditioning, flexibility, coordination and balance.
Be ready to have fun, feel empowered and strong.
If you have an existing injury, surgery or mobility issue, please consult your GP or Physiotherapist before undertaking this class.
Course Breakdown
Each class includes four sections:
· Music and dance (for our cardiovascular warm-up),
· Weights (strength and balance)
· Core (use of mat)
· Stretching
The term is divided in three weeks intervals. A class routine is repeated whole over the course of three weeks with the purpose to build up strength and promote confidence through achievement.
This is an overview of what may be covered during the course; however, changes may occur based on various factors and the needs of the class.

Classes will:
· Improve your confidence, coordination, balance and flexibility.
· Support your bone density.
· Tone your entire body.
· Improve your cardio.
· Support your mental wellbeing by reducing your stress level via strategic exercises.

Nancy was born in the beautiful country of Guatemala in Central America, music is an essential part of her culture and she enjoys dancing and teaching with it. Nancy enjoys teaching through movement, and understands the importance of exercise and the positive impact an active life can have on a person, by increasing their quality of life, improving their mental health, and boosting their confidence on their every day activities.
